Call My Doctor is the complete After-Hours Medical Service utilising After Hours In Home Visits and Telehealth Services which are delivered to you in the comfort of your own home

This facilitates the treatment of patients through an Australian Registered Practitioner. Our entire philosophy is to increase the quality of medical services whilst at the same time reducing waiting times and unnecessary pressure on our current hospital emergency departments. We have a team of professional Australian qualified Practitioners who are available in the after hours sector, 7 days a week.

With a simple phone call you can request a consult with a Practitioner for either an In-Home visit or Telehealth service. Please have your Medicare Card ready.

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

When calling 13 47 11

You will be triaged by our triage team to ascertain your needs. You will then be placed in our waiting room for your consultation with a registered Practitioner

CONSULTING WITH THE PRACTITIONER

The Practitioner will consult with you exactly the same way he/she would in his/her medical practice. This saves travel time for you, as well as reduces congestion at Emergency Departments in our hospitals.

PRESCRIPTION OR SCRIPT

If deemed necessary, the Practitioner will complete a prescription for you.  In some regions we may have a partnership with a pharmacy that will deliver free of charge (please ask if your region has this available).

MEDICAL CERTIFICATES

The Practitioner will supply a medical certificate as/if required.

Call My Doctor to start up north

Call My Doctor will provide residents in the Mareeba and Atheron areas with 100% bulk billed after-hours in-home GP consultations and pay for Telehealth services. By calling 134711, patients will have access to a fully trained team of nurses ad health professionals, where non-urgent and non-life threatening situation will be booked in for an in-home consultation or scheduled for an on-line Telehealth consultation.

Call My doctor is a team of trained professionals who are looking forward to working in collaboration with NQPHN to provide these much needed services to the communities of Mareeba, Atherton and their surrounding areas.

The Telehealth service will allow patients to phone or video link directly to one of our practitioners and will also be able to receive their scripts direct from our partner pharmacies.
